CONTROLS

THROTTLE CONTROL (A Fig.2)
The throttle control lever is situated on the right hand
side of the upper handle. By moving the lever
forwards the engine speed is increased to give a
maximum crankshaft speed of 1800 rpm.
OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL (OPC)

The OPC lever situated at the top of the handle holds
the brake in the 'off' position and the transmission
clutch in the engaged position. When the OPC is
released the transmission clutch is disengaged and
the landroll / transport brake is applied.
TRANSMISSION CLUTCH LEVER (A Fig.3)
The transmission clutch lever is situated on the right
hand side of the cross plate and is normally in the
disengaged position. To engage the drive to the
transmission pull the lever rearwards at the same
time as the brake lever and move the OPC rail
towards the handle to retain both levers.
IGNITION CUTOUT SWITCH

The ignition cut out switch is a toggle switch situated
on the right hand side of the cross plate.
Before the engine can be started the switch must be
in the 'on' position. To stop the engine move the
switch to the 'off' position.
BRAKE LEVER (C Fig.3)
The brake lever is situated on the left hand side of the
cross plate and is normally in the 'on' position. To
disengage the brake pull the lever rearwards at the
same time as the transmission clutch lever and move
the OPC rail towards the handle to retain both levers.
CYLINDER CLUTCH LEVER (A Fig.4)
The cylinder clutch lever is situated inside of the left
hand side plate. In the down position the clutch is
engaged and in the up position the clutch is
disengaged.
