OPERATING THE MACHINE
CUTTING
1.
Start the engine and allow to warm up.
2.
Set the engine throttle to the desired speed.
3.
Engage the cylinder clutch.
3.
Move the brake lever rearward and bring the
OPC rail towards the handles to latch the brake
lever in the off position.
4.
While still holding the OPC with the brake lever
off move the transmission clutch lever
rearwards until it latchers and is held by the
OPC rail.
TRANSPORT
1.
Fit transport wheels.
2.
Disengage the cylinder clutch.
3.
Move the brake lever rearward and bring the
OPC rail towards the handles to latch the brake
lever in the off position.
4.
While still holding the OPC with the brake lever
off move the transmission clutch lever
rearwards until it latchers and is held by the
OPC rail.
TO STOP THE MACHINE
1.
Release the OPC rail, the landroll / wheel brake
will be applied and the transmission clutch will
be disengaged.
2.
Move the ignition cut out switch to the off
position.
TO OPERATE EFFICIENTLY
Keep the machine clean to avoid grass clippings
dropping onto the green and to avoid carrying grass
clippings from the surround onto the green.
Ensure the concave is set correctly to deliver grass
clippings into the grassbox.
Clear any build up of grass on the front roll etc.
When emptying the grassbox. Keep drain holes in
the grassbox clear. Avoid dropping grass onto the
surround.
Keep the space between the rear roll, top deck and
concave clean.
DO NOT leave the cylinder running when the
machine is stationary - this will bruise the grass.
