Using the System

PTZ

Use the PTZ menu to control any PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras (not included) connected to your
system. For details on connecting PTZ cameras, see "Appendix F: Connecting PTZ Cameras" on
page 153.
To open the PTZ menu:
1. Click on the channel with a PTZ camera.
2. Click the PTZ button in the status bar.
• The PTZ menu opens.

1. CAM: Select a different channel.
2. PRESET: Select preset number ( 1~255). For details on setting Presets on your PTZ camera,
see "Configuring PTZ Presets" on page 154.
3. SET: Save a preset.
4. GO TO: Go to a saved preset position.
5. Pan/Tilt Navigation:
• : Tilt camera up/down
• : Pan camera left/right
6. ZOOM/FOCUS/IRIS: Increase or decrease Zoom, Focus and Iris focusing.
7. PARAMETER: Opens the Parameter menu (see figure 5.9).
8. OK: Close the PTZ menu.
