EVENT/SENSOR
Configure HDD events, alarm input/
output, buzzer, and email
notifications.
HDD EVENT
Use the HDD Event menu to allow the system
to monitor the internal hard disk.
NOTE: If more than one HDD is installed the
system, the system will treat the hard drives as

To set HDD event alarms:
1. Click the SETUP button (
Status Bar.
2. Click SYSTEM SETUP.
3. Click EVENT SENSOR.

4. Under SMART ALARM, click
ON/OFF. If ON, an alarm will sound if the
system detects errors with the internal
HDD.

5. Under CHECK INTERVAL, click
select 1 HOUR (default), ~ 24 HOUR. This
sets the frequency that the system will
check the internal HDD for errors.
6. Under DISK FULL EVENT, click
select ON/OFF. If ON, the system will
sound an alarm when the internal HDD is
full.
7. Click APPLY to save your settings or click
CANCEL to restore defaults.

ALARM INPUT
Use the Alarm Input menu to configure
external alarm devices (i.e. a door or window
sensor).
NOTE:
connected an external alarm device to the
alarm block on the rear panel of the system
prior to configure alarm settings. For more
details, see "Appendix H: Connecting
Motion / Alarm Devices" on page 156.
To configure alarm inputs:
1. Click the ALARM INPUT tab on the left.

ENABLE or DISABLE.
