Formatting the Hard Drive
: Formatting the HDD erases

NOTE: Make sure that you have no files in the Backup Reserve.
To format the hard disk:
1. Click the SETUP button (
2. Click SYSTEM SETUP.
3. Click DISK MANAGE.
• The Disk Management window opens.
4. Under FORMAT, click the START button.
5. Log in with your administrator user name and password (by default, user name: ADMIN;
password: 1234).
6. From the prompt, click OK .
• Formatting begins. This could take several moments depending on the size of the hard drive.
7. Once formatting is complete, click APPLY.
8. Close any remaining windows to exit.
