RECORDING OPERATIONS
Use the Recording Operations menu to set the
recording schedule frequency and set pre- and
post recording times.
To configure recording operations:
1. Click the RECORDING OPERATIONS tab on
the left.

2. Configure the following:
• SCHEDULE MODE: Select DAILY (default)
or WEEKLY
If the WEEKLY schedule mode is
NOTE:
selected, you can customize the particular
day a recording type (ie. Motion recording)
occurs. For example, you can have the
system record Motion recording every
Saturday.
• PRE EVENT RECORDING TIME: Select from
0 SEC ~ 5 SEC (default)
Pre Event Recording is the length of
NOTE:
time that the system will record before a
triggered event.
• POST EVENT RECORDING: Select from 5
SEC (default), 10 SEC, 15 SEC, 120 SEC, or
180 SEC
Post Event Recording is the length of
NOTE:
time that the system will record after a
triggered event.
3. Click APPLY to save your settings or click
CANCEL to restore defaults.

CONTINUOUS / MOTION
RECORDING
Use the Continuous/Motion Recording menu to
configure recording parameters for each
camera, and apply continuous, motion, or
continuous + motion recording to a schedule.
RECORDING TYPES
Understanding the differences between the
three recording types allow you to customize
your recording schedule to your particular
needs.
Continuous Recording
Continuous recording means the system
records non-stop in an endless loop.
Motion Recording
Motion recording means the system only
records events when movement is detected by
the cameras.
Continuous + Motion
Continuous + Motion means the system
records in an endless loop and simultaneously
bookmarks all the movement events that
occur. Bookmarking events allow the system
to populate a list of events that contain only
motion.
