Using the System Menu
About Spot Dwell and Spot Out Display
Spot Out is designed to output a single channel
of video without the system's screen menus.
To output a single channel of video on a
display, connect a display to the Spot Out port
on the system.
Spot Dwell refers to the time in between when
the channel changes from channel to channel.
• DE-INTERLACE MODE: Select ON/OFF to
enable or disable de-interlace mode.
When recording any channels in D1
NOTE:
resolution (704 x 480), this should be set to
ON to prevent judder during playback.
• ALARM POP-UP MODE: Select ON/OFF to
enable/disable the associated alarm
channel to display on-screen when an
alarm triggers.
• ALARM POP-UP DWELL: Set the time (in
seconds) for the associated channel to
remain on-screen when an alarm triggers;
select from 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, 5 sec
(default), 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec, 40
sec, or 60 sec.
• MOTION POP-UP MODE: Select ON/OFF to
enable/disable the associated channel to
appear in full-screen when motion is
triggered.
• MOTION POP-UP DWELL: Set the time (in
seconds) for the associated channel to
remain in full-screen when motion is
triggered; select from 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, 5
sec (default), 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec,
40 sec, or 60 sec.
• ASPECT RATIO: Select the display
resolution of the system. Choose between
16:9 (wide screen) or 4:3.
3. Click APPLY to save your settings or click
CANCEL to restore defaults.

SEQUENCE

Use the Sequence menu to define a custom
sequence. To view the sequence display, click
the DISP (display) button in the Status bar, and
then click the Auto Sequence
button ( ).

Adding a New Sequence

Create a new sequence for Auto Sequence
mode.
You can create up to 16 sequences.
NOTE:
To add a new sequence:
1. Click the SEQUENCE tab on the left.
• The Sequence window opens.

2. Click ADD .

3. Double-click SEQUENCE TITLE to open the
Virtual Keyboard and enter a name for the
sequence.
4. Click OK to save the sequence name.
5. Beside ACTIVATION click
ON to enable the new sequence.
