Indications of Faulty Operation
7.3.1
General
When operated via a central control facility faulty operation can be largely ruled out.
In the case of manual operation, but also within a control complex, please observe the
following instructions.
Avoid damage to the centrifugal pump and make sure that:
•
The centrifugal pump always runs quietly and vibration free.
•
The centrifugal pump does not run dry.
•
A longer period of operation with closed shut-off device is avoided to prevent heating
up the delivery medium. For the requisite minimum delivery quantity see chapter 7.2.1
•
The maximum permitted room temperature of + 40°C is not exceeded.
•
That the ball bearing temperature does not exceed the room temperature by more than
+ 50ºC and in any event does not exceed + 90ºC overall (measured at the exterior of
the motor housing).
•
During centrifugal pump operation the shut-off device in the supply line is not closed.
