h) Setting of Dual Rate Function (D/R)
Use the dual rate function to reduce the maximum steering deflection electronically on
demand. This function is absolutely recommended when the model show extreme steer-
ing deflections and therefore tends to oversteer.
The linear coupling between control transmitter and servo path remains unchanged
(see sketch). The dual rate function has an effect on both sides of the steering deflec-
tion.
For quick changes to the steering deflection during the drive, use the dual rate button
for the steering function (see figure 1, item 2) to access the dual rate menu directly.

Setting the dual rate function for steering
Switch on the transmitter. On the transmitter's LC display the operating dis-
play will appear.
Press the Enter button to enter the programming menu. The menu item for
model memory selection (MDL) is displayed.
Use the cursor button (up/down) to call the menu item for the dual rate func-
tion (D/R).
Now use the Enter button to activate the menu item. The display shows chan-
nel 1 (CH1) for steering and the factory pre-set or last programmed dual rate
value.
Now use the cursor button (up/down) or the dual rate button for steering to set
the desired dual rate value for the steering function. The smaller the set value,
the lower the steering deflection. The adjustable value is between 0 and 100%.
The set value is stored automatically.
Use ESC to leave the programming menu again or to return to the operating
display.
