f) Setting of Model Name (NAM)
In addition to the memory numbers 0–9, you can assign a short name consisting of three letters or digits to each
model. This makes it easier to assign the model memory positions to a model.
Please observe that only the name of the currently called model memory can be changed.
Setting the model name
Switch on the transmitter. On the transmitter's LC display the operating dis-
play will appear.
Press the Enter button to enter the programming menu. The menu item for
model memory selection (MDL) is displayed.
Use the cursor button (up/down) to call the menu item for entering a name
(NAM).
Now use the Enter button to activate the menu item. The display shows the
three current name characters for the currently set model memory. The left
letter flashes.
Use the cursor button (up/down) to change the first letter.
Then switch to the second letter with the cursor button (right/left). Set the
second letter with the cursor button (up/down) as well.
The third letter is set accordingly.
Press Enter to store the set name.
Use ESC to leave the programming menu again or to return to the operating
display.
