d) Verifying and Setting the Digital Trim
Before adjusting your model or programming the remote control system, you have to make sue that the digital trim-
ming for the steering and drive function is in the central position (value "N 0").
Each brief push of the programming and setup buttons is confirmed with an acoustic signal. If a button is
pressed for a longer duration, the respective values will change continually, and the remote control trans-
mitter issues a fast sequence of beeps.
Use the steering trim button (see fig. 1, item 8) to set the centre position for
the steering servo (CH 1). If you press the button briefly, the display switches
from the operating display to the trimming display.
With each further press of the button, the trim value changed by one step. By
pressing the button in both directions, you can increase or decrease the value.
If the button is pressed and held, the setting value changes continuously. The
adjustable trim value is between left = "left (L 30)" and right ="right (R 30)".
If the display is exactly at "N 0", the exact centre position is reached. The set
value is stored automatically. Use the Enter or ESC button (see figure 2, item
11 or 12) to switch back to the operating display.
