5. Turn the blast wheels (A) by hand to push the
abrasive material out of the product and on to the
tarp.

6. Do a check of the rubber seals in the valves for the
abrasive material. Refer to
seal in the valves for the abrasive material on page
31 .
7. Install the valves for the abrasive material.
Mandatory logbook for operation and
inspections
It is the responsibility of the operator to keep a logbook
in accordance with EN 1808:2015 Section 14.2.5. If the
ownership of the system changes, the logbook must be
kept together with the equipment. This information must
be included in the logbook:
•
The name of the competent person that is
responsible for the system.
•
The name of the operator and the date for each
operation of the product, the dust collector and the
rigging system.
•
Serial number of the product, the dust collector and
the rigging system.
•
Specifications of the steel wire ropes and the
operation hours.
•
Incidents and actions taken.
•
The date and results of these checks:

Safety checks before the first use
•
Weekly checks
•
Yearly checks
•
General overhauls
