Problem
The winch motor
does not operate.
The product can
move up and down
but there is a loud
continuous sound
from the winch motor
or there is a grind-
ing sound from the
winch.

Cause
The electrical enclosure has no power.
There is no power in the power grid.
The phase sequence relay is causing a
blockage of the electrical enclosure.
The power cord between the power source
and the product is disconnected.
The electrical connections are incorrect. For
example, a neutral conductor is missing.
A phase is missing which causes the winch
motor to become too hot and the motor pro-
tection releases.
The cooling system of the electrical enclo-
sure does not operate correctly. The winch
motor becomes too hot and the motor protec-
tion releases.
The voltage is too high or too low.
The brake does not open because the power
cord, brake coil or brake rectifier is damaged.
The brake does not open because the brake
rotor is worn.
A phase is missing which causes the winch
motor to become too hot and the motor pro-
tection releases.
The cooling system of the electrical enclo-
sure does not operate correctly. The winch
motor becomes too hot and the motor protec-
tion releases.
The voltage is too high or too low.
There is dirt in the winch and continued op-
eration can cause damage to the steel wire
rope and the winch.
Solution
Turn the emergency stop button on the elec-
trical enclosure clockwise to disengage.
Find the cause and wait until the power is
back on.
Turn the phase inverter in the plug from the
winch motor to the electrical enclosure 180°.
Do a check of the power cord, control cables,
fuses and connections or wiring in the elec-
trical enclosure. Let an approved Husqvarna
service agent do the necessary checks and
repairs.
Let an approved Husqvarna service agent
compare the connections and the wiring dia-
gram and do a conversion if it is necessary.
Let an approved Husqvarna service agent do
a check of the fuses, leads and terminals and
do the necessary repairs.
Clean the electrical enclosure and make sure
that the fans of the cooling system rotate.
Measure the voltage and the power con-
sumption of the winch motor when there is
load on the product. Use cables with larger
cross-section if it is necessary.
Let an approved Husqvarna service agent do
a check of the power cord, brake coil and
brake rectifier, and do the necessary repairs.
Let an approved Husqvarna service agent do
the necessary repairs.
Let an approved Husqvarna service agent do
a check of the fuses, leads and terminals and
do the necessary repairs.
Clean the electrical enclosure and make sure
that the fans of the cooling system rotate.
Measure the voltage and the power con-
sumption of the winch motor when the prod-
uct is in operation. Let an approved Husqvar-
na service agent change the motor wiring at
the motor block if it is necessary.

do the necessary repairs, inspections and re-
placements.
