Before you go away from the product, stop the
motors and disconnect the power cord. Make sure
that there is no risk of accidental start.
•
Make sure that clothing, long hair or jewelry does not
get caught in moving parts.
•
Make sure that you are in a safe and stable position
during operation.
•
Stay away from the area below the product. Keep
a safe distance from the product. A safe distance is
bigger than the length of the steel wire rope that is
used when you operate the product.
•
Make sure that there are no loose bolts or nuts.
•
Make sure that the door of the hopper is closed
during operation to keep the vacuum in the product.
•
Do not operate the product unless you can get aid if
an accident occurs.
•
Always use approved accessories. Speak to your
Husqvarna dealer for more information.
•
If vibrations occur in the product or the noise level
from the product is unusually high, stop the product
immediately. Disconnect the power plug. Examine
the product for damages. Repair damages or let an
approved service agent do the repair.
•
Always use approved abrasive material. Speak to
your Husqvarna dealer for more information. Refer to
Approved abrasive material on page 42 .
•
Make sure that the product inspections are done
by a competent person and at the correct intervals.
Make a note of all inspections and operations in a
logbook.
•
Do not use the product unless you are able to call for
help in case of an accident.
•
Do not operate the product unless you can get aid if
an accident occurs.
Steel wire rope safety
WARNING:

Use protective gloves for all work with steel wire
ropes.
•
Always use approved steel wire ropes. Speak to
your Husqvarna dealer for more information.
•
Make sure that the steel wire rope does not become
twisted when you unwind it from the reel.
•
Make sure that the steel wire rope can unwind freely.
•
Examine the condition of the steel wire ropes. Refer
To examine the steel wire ropes on page 27 .

The system operator is responsible for the
replacement of damaged steel wire ropes.
•
Do not use a steel wire rope to attach an object.
•
Do not wind a steel wire rope around a load.
•
Do not put the steel wire ropes across edges. Sharp
edges can cause damage to the steel wire ropes.

Make sure that the steel wire rope is always clean
and correctly lubricated. Refer to
2149 - 001 - 02.11.2023

disulphide or PTFE.
•
If damages to the steel wire ropes occur during
operation, stop the operation, safety all lifted
equipment and repair the damages immediately.
•
Make sure that the steel wire ropes have sufficient
length.
•
Make sure that the steel wire rope that is on the
ground does not become dirty or damaged.
Dust safety

Operation of the product can cause dust in the
air. Dust can cause serious injury and permanent
health problems. Silica dust is regulated as harmful
by several authorities. These are examples of such
health problems:
•
The fatal lung diseases chronic bronchitis,
silicosis and pulmonary fibrosis
•
Cancer
•
Birth defects
•
Skin inflammation
•
Use correct equipment to decrease the quantity of
dust and fumes in the air and to decrease dust on
work equipment, surfaces, clothing and body parts.
Example of controls are dust collection systems.
Decrease dust at the source where possible. Make
sure that the equipment is correctly installed and
used and that regular maintenance is done.
•
Use approved respiratory protection. Make sure
that the respiratory protection is applicable for the
dangerous materials in the work area.
•
Make sure that the airflow is sufficient in the work
area.
Noise safety

•
High noise levels and long-term exposure to noise
can cause noise-induced hearing loss.
•
To keep the noise level to a minimum, do
maintenance on and operate the product as given
in the operator's manual.
•
Use approved hearing protection while you operate
the product.
•
Listen for warning signals and voices when you use
hearing protection. Remove the hearing protection
when the product is stopped, unless hearing
protection is necessary for the noise level in the work
area.
