To do before you operate the product
1. Read the operator's manual for this product, the dust
collector and the rigging system carefully and make
sure that you understand the instructions.
2. If a generator is used as a power source for the
product, read and understand the operator's manual
of the generator.
3. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 8 .
4. Make sure that the work area is safe. Refer to
area safety on page 8 . All persons in the work area
must use personal protective equipment.
5. Make sure that no vehicles or other equipment can
move across or cause damage to the power cord or
dust extraction hose during operation.
6. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 25 .
7. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
8. Tighten the external parts mounted in the door
cabinets and the cable glands inside the cabinet.
9. Make sure that the blast wheels, liners and sealing
are not damaged or worn out. Replace the parts
when 75% of the blade thickness has been worn
away.
10. Make sure that the separator is not damaged.
11. Make sure that the separator is filled with abrasive
material and that the lid on the hopper is closed.
12. Make sure that abrasive material seal is not
damaged or worn out.
13. Apply abrasive material to the magnets of the
abrasive material seal. Refer to
seal on page 14 .
14. Prepare the rigging system. Refer to the operator's
manual of the rigging system.
15. Make sure that the lifting equipment is not damaged.
Do a check of the steel wire ropes, the rigging
system and the winch motors. Make sure that the
certificates for the steel wire ropes, the rigging
system and the winch motors are valid.

16. Make sure that the total weight of the product is
not more than the specified work load limit. Refer to
Technical data on page 41 .
17. Make sure that the lifting equipment is examined by
a competent person at the correct intervals.
18. Connect the dust collector to the product. Refer to
Dust collector connection, overview on page 15 .
19. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF
position before you connect the product to a power
source.

Valves for the abrasive material
The valves for the abrasive material control the flow
of the abrasive material to the blast wheels. The
adjustment of the valves for the abrasive material is
shown on the remote control display.

13 .
