– if there are corridors in the mowing
area.
Function:
If the robotic mower follows the perimeter
wire offset tat a distance on the inside, it
will cross one of these search loops during
this drive home. It will then travel to the
perimeter wire and on to the docking
station.
Search loops with an external docking
station:
Two search loops (1) must be installed at
90° to the perimeter wire to the left and
right of the approach to the external
docking station.
Minimum clearance to the approach: 2 m

Search loops with corridors:
Two search loops (1) must be installed at
90° to the perimeter wire, always in the
part of the mowing area that can only be
reached via a corridor.
Minimum clearance to the corridor
entrance: 2 m
If a number of corridors are
installed one behind the other, then
search loops must be installed in
each of the affected mowing areas.
Installation of a search loop:
Search loops must not be installed in the
vicinity of corners.
Minimum clearance to corners: 2 m
Install the search loop in the lawn area as
shown. The perimeter wire (1) must be
fastened to the ground with two fixing pins
at the edge A and must not be crossed.
Minimum length: 100 cm
Width: 1 cm
● Attach the search loop to the ground
with a sufficient number of fixing pins.
11.12 Accurate mowing along edges
At a track offset of 6 cm, a strip with
a width of up to 20 cm is left
unmown along high obstacles. If
necessary, edging stones can be
laid around high obstacles.
