Through the greater clearance (24 cm) the
robotic mower travels along the perimeter
wire (2) without bumping into the
obstacle (1) in the corner around a high
obstacle.
A + C = 24 cm
No-go area:
Clearance for routing the
perimeter wire around a no-go area.
The robotic mower travels along the
perimeter wire (1) around the
obstacles (2) without bumping into it.

Measuring the height of obstacles:
The robotic mower can cross
obstacles such as paths if the
height of the stepped area is less
than 2 cm. The step in the iRuler
corresponds precisely to this height.
Obstacle (1) is lower than 2 cm: Route the
perimeter wire (2) without clearance to the
obstacle.
If the perimeter wire is routed
without clearance to the obstacle
(flagstones etc.) it must be ensured
that the flagstones can be travelled
on freely (without obstacle) with a
22 cm clearance.
Obstacle (1) is higher than 2 cm:
Route perimeter wire (2) with clearance A
(22 cm) to the obstacle.
If necessary, set the cutting height
so that the mowing deck of the
robotic mower does not hit the
obstacles.
If the lowest cutting height is set,
the robotic mower can
consequently clear less than 2 cm.
11.6 Confined areas
If a confined area is installed in the
mowing area then offset drive home
(passage) must be deactivated.
(
10.14)
The robotic mower travels automatically in
all confined areas, provided the minimum
wire clearance is maintained. Narrower
areas of the mowing area must be blocked
off through appropriate routing of the
perimeter wire.
