This section describes the functionality, the hardware and firmware requirements of the AC68BFIU
Fault Inhibit Interface board for the AC68xxB Power Sources.
The Fault Inhibit interface board (option AC68BFIU) lets an external input signal control the output
state of instrument. The input signal is level triggered. The signal is referenced to chassis ground. The
input polarity and the operating mode are user-configurable.
The AC68BFIU Fault Inhibit Interface board can only be installed in the "B" version AC
power sources.

Wire Connections
Make your connections as shown in the following figure. Connect the signal wire to the + pin. Connect
the return wire to the ground pin 1. Wires size should be from AWG28 to AWG20. Strip the wires back
approximately 7 mm.
