When in AUTO-DRIVE mode, if the
GEAR DOWN button is activated, the
transmission goes into semiautomatic
mode. In this case, in addition to the word
DRIVE, the gear in use is also displayed.
When in semiautomatic mode, if the
throttle lever is not excessively rotated, it
is possible to downshift by repeatedly

pressing the GEAR DOWN button. When
the operation is finished, the vehicle will
continue to function in semiautomatic
mode.
If the driver accelerates or presses the
GEAR UP button, the transmission
leaves semiautomatic mode and the gear
disappears from the display, returning to
AUTO-DRIVE mode.
The AUTO-DRIVE system has three dif-
ferent mappings:

- SPORT
- TOURING
- RAIN
SPORT mode offers the most power: the
engine is always at a high RPM, the gear
change is rapid, and the engine braking
is at the maximum.
TOURING mode is intended for touring
use of the vehicle, hence RPM is lower
than in SPORT mode, with less vibration
and lowered fuel consumption.

teur souhaite rétrograder de plusieurs
vitesses ou souhaite recourir au frein mo-
teur lors d'un freinage d'urgence ou à
l'occasion d'une manœuvre particulière.
En mode ENTRAÎNEMENT AUTOMATI-
QUE, si on actionne le bouton GEAR
DOWN (rétrogradage), on passe en mo-
de semi-automatique. Dans ce cas, outre
l'inscription DRIVE (ENTRAÎNEMENT
AUTOMATIQUE), il est également pos-
sible de visualiser le rapport passé.
En mode semi-automatique, si la com-
mande d'accélérateur n'est pas excessi-
vement tournée, il est possible de rétro-
grader en actionnant à plusieurs reprises
le bouton GEAR DOWN (rétrogradage).
Une fois l'opération terminée, le véhicule
continue à fonctionner en mode semi-au-
tomatique.
Si on accélère ou si on actionne le bouton
GEAR UP (passage d'un rapport supéri-
eur), on quitte le mode semi-automatique
pour revenir au mode ENTRAÎNEMENT
AUTOMATIQUE, et l'indication du rap-
port engagé disparaît.
Le système de gestion ENTRAÎNEMENT
AUTOMATIQUE possède trois cartogra-
phies différentes :
- SPORT
- TOURING
- RAIN
