close his or her eyes and remain immobile.
5.4.5.2. TMJ FRONTAL

Follow the steps as for the TMJ LATERAL examination but
acting differently in steps 4 and 6 as follows:
Position the patient's head not according to the Frankfurt
plane but so that the horizontal light trace passes from the
upper margin of the orbit to the upper margin of the auditory
meatus in such a way that these two points are on the same
horizontal plane, as shown in the figure.
To adjust the head inclination, just raise or lower the unit
using the height adjustment buttons.
