EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER

• Muffler cover 1

5. Tighten:
• Muffler cover bolts 2

6. Install:
• Muffler cover plate 3
7. Tighten:
• Muffler cover plate bolts 4

Tightening steps:
• Finger tighten the muffler cover bolts.
• Tighten the bolts towards the rear of the
machine to the specified torque.
• Tighten the bolts towards the front of the
machine to the specified torque.
8. Install:
• Passenger assist grip bracket 1
9. Tighten:
• Passenger assist grip bracket bolts 2

Passenger assist grip bracket bolt:
23 Nm (2.3 m · kg, 17 ft · lb)
