BATTERY INSPECTION
11. Install:
• Battery
12. Connect:
• Battery leads

CAUTION:
First, connect the positive battery lead 1, then
the negative battery lead 2.
13. Check:
• Battery terminals
14. Lubricate:
• Battery terminals
15. Install the battery cover 1 and then hook the
battery band 2.

16. Install the air filter case by reversing the removal
steps.

NOTE:
Ensure the crankcase breather hose is proper con-
nected to the air filter case.
17. Closed the shroud.

Dirt → Clean with a wire brush.
Loose connection → Connect properly.
Recommended lubricant:
Dielectric grease
