5.3 HARVESTING HEAD ASSEMBLY
This paragraph contains instructions for assembling the harvesting heads that are supplied with the teeth or rakes
removed.
The Alice harvesting head is supplied with the rakes removed. Follow the procedure below to assemble
them.
•
Take the harvesting head, rakes, screws, nuts and Allen key out of the package
•
Insert the rakes (22) into the seat on the couplings (28), paying attention to the orientation notch (A)
on the rake.
•
Insert the nuts (27), into the seat on the couplings
•
Insert the caps (25) and tighten the screws (26) until they are locked with a tightening torque of 5
Nm.
The Hercules harvesting head is supplied with the teeth removed. Follow the procedure below to assemble
them.
•
Remove the Hercules harvesting head and the eight teeth (20) from the packaging.
•
Insert the teeth with light pressure on the teeth support (21), taking care that the reference planes
are correctly positioned and ensuring that the locking teeth have come out of the holder.
