3.6 COMPOSITION OF EXTENSION POLES
The following section shows the composition of the extension poles compatible with the tool described in this
manual, as illustrated in fig.4, while the table displays the name of the elements making up the product with
relative functional description.

3.7 GENERAL OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
This paragraph describes the general operating characteristics of the product purchased.
The POWER ECO PLUG-IN power unit is a product designed to drive olive and coffee harvesting tools.
The power unit combined with the extension pole and the harvesting head constitutes the generic type of complete
tool that is intended for harvesting olives and coffee.
The power unit consists of a body housing the geared motor.
The ON-OFF switch (7) is on the handle body (1), which controls the switching on and off of the tool.
At the head of the handle body (1) there is a clamp (3) prepared for mounting the fixed (12) or telescopic (11)
extension pole, which transmits motion to the harvesting head.
The "products table" diagram in paragraph 2.3 summarises the range of products that are compatible with the power
unit.
The operating principle of the complete tool is to shake the tree branches by the teeth (13) that the harvesting head
(12) is equipped with, causing the fruit to fall off.
Each harvesting head has its own internal kinematic mechanism that moves the rakes.
The movement of the rakes is generated by a motor and transmitted to the head by an extension pole.
The rakes are made of technopolymer and equipped with technopolymer or carbon teeth depending on the model
of the harvesting head.
The power unit can be powered by two types of battery:
➢ 12V Lead battery (not included). It connects to the power unit by the power cable not included in the scope
of supply, 13 m long, complete with connector for the tool and connection clamps (19) for the battery.
➢ 21.6V lithium-ion battery (not included).
CAUTION!
It is absolutely forbidden to start the engine of any vehicle with the product's power cable connected to the
battery via the cable clamps.
