5.2 PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
The power unit covered by this manual must be assembled with the extension pole and the harvesting head to
obtain the complete tool for harvesting olives and coffee.
Start by mounting the power unit on the extension pole as shown below.
•
Engage the drive shaft connection (29) on the power unit's gearmotor.
•
Insert the extension pole (32-33) into the clamp (7) until it stops in the body.
•
Tighten the four screws (8) of the clamp to secure the extension pole firmly.
Proceed with the mounting of the harvesting head on the extension pole as follows, making sure to first mount the
teeth or rakes as explained in the next paragraph.
•
Engage the drive shaft connection (29) on the harvesting head shaft.
•
Insert the extension pole (32-33) into the clamp until it stops in the body.
•
Tighten the clamp (23) screws (16) on the head to securely block the extension pole.
NOTE
The procedure for mounting the harvesting heads on the extension pole is the same for all
available models.
NOTE
All screws must be tightened with the appropriate torque. See paragraph 7.1.1.
To adjust the telescopic extension pole to the desired length, proceed as follows.
•
Unlock the lever (31) on the telescopic extension pole.
•
Adjust the length of the telescopic pole to the working height.
•
Lock the lever (31) to secure the telescopic tube firmly.
