7.3.2 LIST OF MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES AND FREQUENCY
The table below shows the maintenance tasks, with their frequency:
Check the total integrity of the product.
Check the integrity of the guards.
Check that all screws are tightened correctly
Check the cooling slots.
Check that the cable and connectors are intact.
Check battery efficiency
Remove harvest debris
Clean the harvesting head
Lubricate the harvesting head
Periodic overhaul to be carried out at a Manufacturer's
Authorised Assistance Centre.
For details on the operating modes, please refer to this manual and in particular to par. 7.1 and 7.2.
With regard to any trade components installed on the product and for which specific documentation has been
provided, reference must be made to the aforementioned documentation for all activities.
7.3.3 RECOMMENDED LUBRICANTS AND ADHESIVES
The product has been designed in such a way as to reduce lubrication-related operations; however, due to its
inherent use, relative lubricants are required, e.g. on the connecting links (15).
Characteristics of the greases and lubricating oils used
The data sheets for greases and lubricating oils in this section only contain the main technical characteristics
required for purchase, but not the safety information related to their use.
Before use, request the 'product safety data sheet' from the manufacturer, which can also normally be found on
the supplier's website.
Do not use any grease other than that indicated by the manufacturer where it is to be used.
Do not mix with other lubricants.
When handling/using grease, always use waterproof protective gloves and observe the safety data sheet of the
grease.
Careful use is recommended.
Be reminded that:
● inhalation of vapours generated by burning product at a temperature above 300 °C can lead to operator
malfunctions;
● smoking is prohibited;
● it is mandatory to wash hands after handling the product.
