5.
INSTALLATION
CAUTION
Before reading this chapter, for the safe use of the product, please consult Chapter 4 'Safety'.
5.1 PACKING AND UNPACKING
The product, in order to be protected and not be damaged during shipment, is usually packed and transported from
the manufacturer to the customer using suitable packaging (cardboard box; suitcase, etc.).
The packaged unit weight does not exceed 20 kg, so it can be easily handled without any special help.
CAUTION!
The handling of loads must be carried out in compliance with the current safety rules in the workplace.
Keep the box to store the tool for medium or long periods or to put it away after use or to ship it packaged
to an Assistance Centre for any repairs.
The information and pictograms necessary for shipping are printed on the product packaging.
Upon receipt of the product, both the integrity of the packaging and the contents must be checked to ensure that
no damage has occurred during shipment.
If you notice any damage due to shipping, send a written complaint, documented by photographs of the damaged
parts, to CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. no later than 8 days after delivery of the product.
Check carefully that the contents correspond exactly to the shipping documents.
When disposing of the packaging, the user must comply with the regulations in force in his country.
Disposal of the packaging is the responsibility of the user/customer.
5.1.1 STORAGE
The packaged product can normally be stored in a closed environment as long as the temperature is not lower
than -10 °C or higher than +50 °C and the relative humidity does not exceed 80% (without condensation).
No other packages must be placed on top of the packaging.
Special care must be taken for fragile materials.
Follow the position indications marked on the packaging.
Special care must be taken during loading, unloading, transport, so as to avoid shocks and damage.
Make sure that the packaging has not been damaged during these operations.
No damaged packaging shall be repaired by the customer.
CAUTION
It should be remembered that certain effects resulting from the exposure of a product to environmental conditions
are the direct consequence of its exposure in sequence to two or more factors or parameters, among which are
particularly critical:
-
thermal shock, which may result from exposing the product to high temperature conditions immediately after
exposure to low temperature conditions or vice versa, or subjecting the product to water (rain, water jets,
snow, immersion, etc. all forbidden conditions) immediately after exposure to high temperature conditions;
-
the formation of ice, which may result from exposing the product to below-freezing temperatures
immediately before or after exposure to moisture, rain or water due to causes other than rain.
CAUTION
After storing the product within the limits of the above-mentioned conditions, it is required that it be kept in non-
operative condition for approximately 12 hours in order to re-establish the correct ambient temperature conditions
permitted (see paragraph 4.7) so as to avoid damage to the electrical/electronic part as a result of thermal shock,
ice formation or humidity, etc., which may deteriorate or damage these circuits.
NOTE: any conditions other than the above may be indicated in the specific documentation of the components,
where present and supplied. In this case, the instructions in the specific documentation must be followed.
