Before locking the pressure cooker, always make sure that the pressure
release tube (part. 3) and safety valve are both clean and not clogged
(see Care and Maintenance of the Pressure Cooker).

1. Align the „ " mark on the lid with the" " mark on the pan handle
(part. 15) (Fig. 4).
2. Press lightly on the lid and turn it clockwise until the two handles are
level with each other (Fig. 5).
3. Push the pressure plate backwards, towards the marking on the lid
handle, to ensure that it is completely closed (Fig. 6).

1. Preparation
Place the pressure cooker straight and stable on the stove (Fig. 7).
2. Pressure setting
4 pressure settings can be selected.
You can use position 2 for normal cooking and position 1 for fast
cooking and easy-to-cook food (Fig. 8).

3. Cooking
Place the pressure cooker on the stove and set to the highest co-
oking level. After a while, small amounts of steam escape from the
steam outlet. When the pressure indicator moves up, the pressure
build-up begins (Fig. 9 and 10). When using a gas stove, always
make sure that the setting is kept low enough to prevent flames from
rising on the wall of the pot.
