Remove all accessories from the pot. Apply a little salad oil to the surfa-
ce around the edge of the lid (Fig. 1). Fill the pressure cooker halfway
with cold water and heat for 30 minutes, following the „Check before
locking" and „Cooking" sections. Open the pressure cooker after it has
cooled completely and all pressure has been released. Empty the pres-
sure cooker and dry it with a soft cloth.

To cook with the pressure cooker, it is essential to fill it with a liquid that
is capable of releasing steam after boiling. Water, soup, broth or wine
can also be used. NEVER fill the pressure cooker with more than 2/3 of
its capacity with liquid or food (Fig. 2)(Fig. 3).
