Replacing bulbs
Before replacing a burnt-out bulb, make sure that the
new one complies with voltage and wattage as specified
on page 58 - "Electric System".
Note
You will need to remove the headlight fairing before
you can access the headlamp.
Headlamp

To gain access to headlamp bulbs, slacken the retaining
screws (1, fig. 43) of outer rim and rim.
Take out the inner rim (3, fig. 44).
Unscrew the three headlamp fastening screws (4).
Disconnect the connector (5, fig. 45) from the headlamp
bulb.
Rotate the ring nut (6, fig. 45) anticlockwise.
Remove the burnt-out bulb (7, fig. 46) and fit a new bulb
with equal rating.
Rotate ring nut (6) clockwise to lock bulb in place.
Note
Never touch the glass body of the new bulb with
your fingers.
