Selectra CS Lead Introducer System
The Selectra CS lead introducer system consists of the accessory kit described in this
technical manual and a selection of compatible guiding catheters with different curve
shapes and working lengths. Table 2 shows our product line.

Compatible leads and accessories
The individually available Selectra guiding catheters with a nominal inner diameter of
7 French (outer catheter) and 5 French (inner catheter) can only be used in combination
with the accessory kit of the Selectra CS lead introducer system.
Outer guiding catheters and implantation accessories of the Selectra CS lead intro-
ducer system are suited for leads with polyurethane coatings or coatings with compa-
rable anti-friction properties and a diameter between 4.6 and 5.8 F. 
Leads with a diameter of less than 5.0 F can be inserted directly through the inner
guiding catheter.
Suitable CS guiding catheters and combinations of inner and outer catheters for dif-
ferent lead lengths can be found in the following table.

available separately), used in conjunction with devices for implantation in the coronary
sinus, has been qualified, manufactured, and tested according to proven and accepted
standards and procedures. Nonetheless, the physician must be aware that the acces-
