b) Mounting the Flight Control System
• Before you can mount the wing, check the
mounting position of the flight control system
(1).
• In practice it has proven useful to fix the
controller to the inside of the right side wall of
the fuselage with the help of double-sided
adhesive tape or servo tape.
c) Connecting the Aileron Servos (only item no. 233770)
• Before you can mount the wings to the model
with item no. 233770 it is necessary to connect
the aileron servos.
• There are two connecting cables (1) with 3-pin
plugs on the receiver (see also figure 6, pos.
5), which have to be connected to the plugs of
the aileron servos (2).
• Always observe the conductor colouring of the
cables when connecting the plugs. Connect the
plugs so that conductor pairs of the same
colour are joined together.
Our tip:
It is generally not important to which receiver output you connect the left or the right
aileron servo.
However, we still recommend that you mark the plugs with coloured adhesive tape or
small stickers to be able to connect the servos in the same way as before after taking off
the wing. In this way, you do not need to re-adjust the aileron linkage rods.
After connecting the plugs it is useful to prevent them from sliding apart with a strip of
adhesive film (the plugs can be loosened due to vibrations during flight).
