i) Adjusting the Rudder Linkage
• First take up operation of the transmitter and
afterwards connect the charged flight battery
to the model.
• The trim slider for the rudder (see figure 2, pos.
5 and 9) has to be in centre position during this
operation.
• Hook the clevis (1) into the rudder horn (2) and
check the position of the rudder (3). The rudder
must not point left or right, but has to be in
line with the tail plane (4).
• Turn the clevis until the rudder is in the correct
position.
Our tip:
Use tongs to bend the linkage wire to a slight angle, so that the clevis meets the rudder
horn exactly.
j) Mounting the Undercarriage
• The two undercarriages are inserted into the
two provided chutes from below.
The chute for the bow undercarriage (1) is
situated directly on the motor frame and the
chute for the main undercarriage (2) is located
directly behind the battery compartment.
• The pointed wheel casings have to point
backwards in the direction of flight.
The undercarriages have to be inserted
completely into the chutes and will remain
securely fixed in the model due to their spring
force.
• If only a meadow is available instead of a hard runway when operating the model, you should use
the model without the undercarriage. For this purpose, you can easily let the model take off from a
person's hand and let it land on the fuselage later.
This is significantly less dangerous, because otherwise the undercarriage could get caught in
the grass when landing and the model would certainly roll over.
