c) Installation of the flight control unit
Solder a high current plug (1) suited to the flight battery onto the
rechargeable battery connection of the flight control unit. The connection
cable and the plug are laid from the inside to the outside through the
rechargeable battery tray. This requires the battery tray cover (see Figure
14, Pos 3) to be removed.
After the 3 pole receiver connection cable of the flight control unit has
been connected to the receiver, the flight control unit (2) can be attached
to the fuselage sidewall using double-sided adhesive tape.
The flight control unit connection cable with the pole reversal proof plug
(see Figure 6a, Pos.1) supplied is then soldered to the two motor
connection leads on the flight control unit (3).
Ensure you maintain the correct polarity red cable = plus (+), black cable=
minus (-).
If the flight control unit has a function switch, this can be mounted at the
prepared location on the left fuselage sidewall (4).
d) Mounting the receiver
The receiver (1) is attached with double-sided adhesive tape to the
fuselage floor underneath the servo.
The antenna cable (2) is passed to the outside through the plastic tube
already glued into the end of the fuselage, the cable is then towed loosely
behind the plane during flight.
e) Mounting the wing
First connect the white 3-pin connector (1) of the flight control unit at the
engine nacelle stub. The asymmetrical contacts prevent an inverted
connection of the connector. Afterwards, connect the 2-pin black connector
(2) of the engine nacelle stub with the connecting cable of the motor that
is built-in, at the front, in the tip of the fuselage.
