• Afterwards, the compartment cover is closed and locked.
• When taking out the rechargeable batteries, the connecting cable and the connecter are first pulled
out of the inside of the model, and only afterwards is the flight battery disconnected.
Our tip:
To prevent the connecting cable of the flight control system from accidentally sliding back
into the inside of the model, just insert a small piece of foam into the rectangular opening
of the cable duct.
Attention!
When connecting the flight battery and setting the control stick position to „Motor Off",
ensure an adequate safety distance from the propeller. Since the model is now in
operation, the motor starts up immediately when the control stick for the motor function
is actuated!
• Set the trim sliders for the rudder and the elevator on the transmitter to the centre position.
• Now check the position of the servo levers on the elevator servo (1) and on the aileron servo (2).
They have to be set at a 90° angle relative to the linkage rods (3). Only in this position is an equal
rudder travel to the top, to the bottom, to the left and to the right possible.
To adjust it, loosen the fastening screw (4), lift
the servo lever off to the top and re-position it
with a displacement of „one tooth".
Ensure that the flight battery is not connected
during this operation!
Afterwards, the adjusted servo lever is again
screwed on tightly.
• When you have completed the check, first disconnect the flight battery and then switch off the
transmitter.
Our tip:
On this occasion, also check that the servo is positioned securely in the model. If the
servos are loose or not fixed properly, you can easily fix them to the fuselage with a small
amount of adhesive. Only use an adhesive suitable for hard foam!
