14. System Management
14.1.1 System Time
System time displays the current System Time, which can be configured manually or be provided automatically by an NTP Server.
Set Time Manually – Enter the set time via the pop-up calendar, set the date and time manually, use the quick selection icon, or click the
today button. Click "OK" to keep time settings.
Set Time Via NTP Server – If an NTP Server is used, click the checkbox of the NTP Server box. Next, set the required SNTP Server IP address.
If the time zone supports daylight savings time, switch the DST option to Enabled. Then, enter the desired time zone.
Click "Save" to save system time settings
14.1.2 System Restart
To restart the switch, click the "Restart" button. The restart process may take up to one minute. The page will refresh to the login page.
Note: To ensure your startup configuration is saved before a restart go to SYSTEM
Config Save and click the "Save Settings" button to save the startup
configuration.
14.1.3 Modify Administrator Password
To change the administrator password, enter the old password, followed by the new password. Confirm by re-entering the new password.
Click "Save" to save settings. Click "Clear" to discard changes.
14.1.4 System Log Settings
This screen allows you to view and search through the current log information from the switch. If you need to set up a Syslog server to
receive logs based on the log level, perform the following steps:
1. Log Switch – Enable logging (default).
2. Server IP – Enter the Syslog Server IP .
3. Send Log Level – Select the log level events to be sent such as Emergencies (0), Alerts (1), Critical (2), Errors (3), Warnings (4),
Notifications (5), Informational (6), or Debugging (7). Click "Save" to save settings.
14.2 System Updates
The System Upgrade tab (Figure 14.2) allows for system firmware updates. The current firmware version is displayed at the top of the
section. Click the browse button to get firmware updates. Click "Start Upgrade" when ready. The system will reboot back to the login screen
when complete.
