13.1.8 Create New SNMP Group

SNMP SNMP Config Group Config to configure the SNMP group (Figure 13.6) using the following steps:
1. Select the "New Group" icon to create your SNMP group.
2. Enter the Group Name (limit: 16 characters).
3. Select the security level of the transmitted info that can be viewed (Figure 13.7). Available settings are: no authentication and no
encryption, authentication and no encryption, or authentication and encryption.
4. Select the group Read View rule as required. The group will be able to view only information based on the rule settings.
5. Select the Read Write View rule as required. The group will be able to view and manage the switch based on the rule settings.
6. Select the Notify View rule as required. The group will only notified of the view rule configuration selected.
7. Click "Save" to save the SNMP group. Click "Exit" to discard changes.
