6. VLAN Management

6.3 Hybrid Port Settings

Hybrid ports support tagged and untagged VLAN traffic. Usually this feature is used with VoIP phone connections or VLANs.
The Hybrid Port List shows the hybrid port configurations of the switch.
• Port: Displays the port number.
• Port Name: Displays the port name description.
• Native VLAN: Displays the native VLAN. By default, the switch's native VLAN is VLAN1.
• Added VLAN TAG: Displays the VLANs that will be tagged when transmitted on the hybrid port.
• Removed VLAN TAG: Displays the VLAN that will be untagged when transmitted on the hybrid port.
• Allowed VLAN: Displays the VLANs that will be tagged when transmitted on the hybrid port.

6.3.1 Add New Hybrid Ports

Select the port or ports that will be part of the hybrid port configuration (Figure 6.12). Next, enter the native VLAN (between 1-4094). Then
enter the VLAN IDs that are tagged (3-5,8,10). Lastly, enter the "Go to VLANs TAG IDs (3-5, 8, 10). Click "Save" to save the hybrid port
settings. The view will automatically switch back to the hybrid ports overview lists.
