9. Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) Management
9.2 Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Bridge Configuration
Select STP STP Bridge Config (Figure 9.2) and perform the following steps:
1. Enable Instance Priority by clicking the checkbox.
2. Select the instance ID from 0-16.
3. Select the priority from 0 through 61440 (default: 32768).
4. Enable the STP bridge by selecting ON, enter Hello Time from 1-10 seconds (default: 2s), Forward Delay from 4-30 seconds (default:
10s), Set the mode of STP , RSTP , MSTP; MAX Age from 6-40 seconds (default: 10s); and Max Hops from 1-40 seconds (default: 10).
Click "Save".
5. "Show Bridge Info" displays the current configured STP bridge information (Figure 9.3).
