13.2.4 Alarm Group

To set up an alarm group for specified data traffic events to trigger at upper and lower thresholds, configure the following items
(Figure 13.20):
1. Index – Set the alarm list index number from 1~65535.
2. Statistical Event – Set the type of event to trigger an alarm. The event types are: DropEvents, Octets, Pkts, BroadcastPkts, MulticastPkts,
CRCAlignErrors, UndersizePkts, OversizePkts, Fragments, Jabbers, Collisions, Pkts64Octets, Pkts65to127Octets, Pkts128to255Octets,
Pkts256to511Octets, Pkts512to1023Octets and Pkts1024to1518Octets.
3. Statistical Group Index – Enter the corresponding statistic Group Index number to monitor the port number.
4. Sampling Time Interval – Enter the sample time interval between 5~65535 seconds .
5. Sample Type – Choose the sample type of either Absolute or Delta.
6. Owner – Enter the owner's name. Supports 1-30 characters.
7. Upper Alarm Threshold Limit – Enter the amount of data traffic to set the upper threshold limit from 0-2147483647.
8. Upper Alarm Threshold Limit Events – Chose the Event Group that you want to trigger when the upper alarm threshold is reached.
9. Lower Alarm Threshold Limit – Enter the amount of data traffic to set the lower threshold limit from 0-2147483647.
10. Lower Alarm Threshold Limit Events – Chose the Event Group that you want to trigger when the lower alarm threshold is reached.
11. Click "Save" to save configuration. Click "Exit" to discard settings.
