13. Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Management
To edit a Community Configuration, select the "Edit" icon and change the community name or access authority (Figure 13.3). Click "Save" to
save settings, click "Exit" to discard changes.

To delete a Community Configuration, click the red icon to delete the list entry or click the checkbox for the community string to be
deleted and click "Delete Selected Community". Delete multiple community strings by clicking the checkbox of each of the strings to be
removed or by checking the main box at the top of the list to select all entries. Once all are selected, click the "Delete Selected Community"
icon to remove them from the list.
Note: You can configure a total of 8 community strings for SNMP .

13.1.3 View SNMP Configuration

Select SNMP SNMP Config View Config (Figure 13.4) – Set up the viewing and managing rules for the MIB OID by creating MIB views
which can then be assigned to an SNMP group. Configure a new rule for each view to avoid affecting the SNMP function.

13.1.4 View Name

Enter the name of the view (limit: 16 characters). Click on the "New View" icon. This will add the view name to the drop-down of the View
Rule List.
