Installation et démarrage de l'ASI KEOR XPE
Auxiliary contacts OCBS - MBCBS– BCBS
The auxiliary contacts of the MBCBS, BCBS and OCBS external switches (if
planned) must be connected to the UPS.

4.5.2.4 External manual bypass

Auxiliary contact of the external manual bypass switch; (if planned); terminals X10-
1/2.
A normally open contact must be used, on closure of the contact (see
the Manual Bypass procedure), the micro-processor will acquire the status and the inverter
will stop.

4.5.2.5 External NORMAL/BYPASS selector

NORMAL/BYPASS selector contact; terminals X10-3/4.
Closure of this contact causes switching of the load from inverter to bypass (if available).

4.5.2.6 External UPS output switch auxiliary contact

Auxiliary contact of the external UPS output switch; terminals X10-5/6.
Auxiliary contact necessary to indicate the position of the switch (open-
closed).
If the external switch is not planned, short circuit the terminals 5-6.

4.5.2.7 Remote shutdown (EPO)

EPO auxiliary contact; terminals X10-7/8.
The power supply of the loads can be interrupted by a remote station using this
contact (e.g. for safety requirements). A normally closed contact must be
connected to the terminals of the UPS (X10-7/8). On opening the contact, the static switches
of the
inverter and the bypass open, cutting power supply to the loads.
If the external emergency stop button is not planned, short circuit the
terminals 7-8.

4.5.2.8 Battery switch auxiliary contact

Auxiliary contact of the battery switch; terminals X10-9/10.
• Single battery configuration: this input must be connected to the auxiliary contact of
the battery switch (BCBS).
• Distributed battery configuration: this auxiliary input must have a bridge.

4.5.2.9 Auxiliary contact of the diesel generator

Auxiliary contact coming from a generator set; terminals X10-11/12.
A normally open contact must be used; the contact must close when the
diesel generator is working properly.
The micro-processor acquires the contact status and, on restart of the rectifier, enables the
"Diesel Mode", operating at reduced DC voltage to reduce the
absorbed power. This contact can only be used in the event of a single battery.
4.5.2.10 Terminal board X13 – Relay
The UPS KEOR XPE, in its standard configuration, is equipped with two relay boards for
remote repetition of the functioning status and the alarms. The electrical connection is created
on the terminal board X13 according to the following diagram.
