Mains connection
The mains connection must be installed inter-placing safety fuses between it and the
UPS.
Use is not recommended of differential safety devices on the power line of the
UPS; the dispersion current towards the ground, due to RFI filters is fairly high
and can cause untimely intervention of the protection.
In compliance with standard CEI EN62040-1, you can use differential devices with a
calibrated intervention threshold, to take into consideration the dispersion current due
to the UPS.
Mains connection
Use an appropriate shut-off device that is easily accessible in the line that
connects the UPS to the mains.

POWER CONDUCTORS CONNECTION
For electrical connection of the UPS KEOR XPE, the following conductors must be connected:
➢ Battery DC power supply
➢ AC power supply from the power mains of the rectifier and bypass;
➢ AC output towards the loads.
Danger of injuries following electric shock
Very high voltages are present on the ends of the cables from the battery:
➢ section the battery with the DC switches before connecting it to the UPS;
➢ connect the ground conductor to the specific bar before carrying out any
connection inside the equipment.
Danger of damaging the device due to insufficient insulation
➢ The cables must be protected against short circuiting and against dispersions
towards the ground;
➢ the insertion points must be hermetically closed to avoid the air being sucked in
through the cable passage.
Danger of damaging the device following wrong cabling
To connect the device, strictly follow the wiring diagram and comply with the polarity
of the cables.
