Password protected access
The CONTROLS section is password protected, set by the manufacturer to prevent
access to unauthorised staff.
➢ You are advised to minimise distribution of the access password.
➢ Changes to the operating parameters and the start operations on the system
can be potentially hazardous for the device and for people.

5.3.1 Reset system alarms

The UPS is equipped with internal protections which can block the system or some of its
functionalities. Using the RESET ALARMS menu, you can reset the alarm and reset normal
operation of the system. If the fault persists, the system returns to the previous lock position.
In some cases, RESET is necessary to simply restore a fault signal, which does not cause any
lock condition of the system. Lock conditions that impose manual reset are:
➢ AS10 BATTERY FAULTY
➢ AS12 STOP TIMEOUT SHORT CIRCUIT
➢ A29 MAINTENANCE REQUIRED
➢ A33 ASYMMETRIC LOAD
➢ AS40 MINIMUM DC VOLTAGE
➢ AS41 MAX DC BATTERY CURRENT
➢ AS50 CURRENT INVERTER SATURATED
➢ AS52 UNDER VOLTAGE LOCKOUT
➢ AS55 PARALLEL CABLE DISCONNECTED
➢ Restart of the system after stoppage following EPO
For a description of the system status in each of the lock conditions previously listed, refer to
the "Faults and alarms" section.
AS28 CRITICAL STOP
NOTE: A test must be carried out on the system before restart, contact
customer service.
The system is equipped with protections which can cause it to lock.
Before resetting the alarm, ensure there are no critical faults on the system.
To reset this alarm, the "RESET ALARMS" procedure must be carried out as
indicated above and completely restart the system.
