3.6. DC Link Discharge Function
The braking unit can be used to discharge a DC Link with a high capacitive value (for example
in systems where the DC Link is parallel connected).
In such a condition it is possible to discharge the DC Link up to a value equal to or lower
than 60V dc by supplying a 10 to 30V external voltage to the terminals X2-7 and X2-8 SIN
and jampering the terminals X2-9 and X2-10 or by using the internal voltage available on
the X2-1 and X2-2 terminals.

cution is critical. This signal must be supplied to the braking unit via
a contact interlocked with those contactors which power the inverter.
