Manual entry of cal solution
Manual entry of cal solution
For calibration with manual entry of the calibration solution's conductivity,
the sensor is immersed in a calibration solution. The analyzer determines a
conductivity/calibration temperature value pair. Then, the temperature-
corrected conductivity value of the solution must be entered. To do this, read
off the conductivity for the temperature displayed from the TC table of the
calibration solution. Intermediate conductivity values must be interpolated.
The analyzer automatically calculates the cell constant.
During calibration the analyzer is in function check mode.
Current outputs and relay contacts behave as configured.
Caution!
•
Use only fresh calibration solutions!
•
Calibration accuracy decisively depends on the exact detection of the
calibration solution's temperature.
•
Observe the response time of the temperature probe!
•
For exact determination of the cell constant, wait until the temperature
probe and calibration solution have the same temperature.
Be sure to observe during calibration:
•
If the measured conductance or the measured temperature fluctuate
greatly, the calibration procedure is aborted after 2 min.
•
If an error message appears, you have to repeat calibration.
Adjustment: Taking over the values determined by calibration
•
When the values determined by calibration are correct, they must be taken
over to adjust the analyzer.
