Wire rope winches with a load of 1000 kg and more have to be equipped with an overload protec-
tion
Pfaff-silberblau contactor control is designed for:
Winches with 1 wire rope speed and AC connection
f=50 Hz: 380÷420 V

f=60 Hz: 440÷460 V (wire rope speed increased by factor 1,20)


Operating voltage 42V; 50/60Hz

Attention
When connecting the winch to a three-phase network U=440÷460V,
the bridge of the transformer has to be switched from A÷B to B÷C!
Winches with 2 wire rope speeds and AC connection
f=50Hz: 380-420 V 5%


Operating voltage 42V-50Hz

Winches with 1 wire rope speed for single-phase AC
f=50 Hz: 220÷240V single-phase AC



For supply of the control current circuit, a transformer with galvanic separation must be used (pro-
vided in Pfaff-silberblau controls).
Exception: direct control acc. to EN 60204 T32 § 9.1, § 9.2.5.10.
In any case, an easily accessible emergency stop push-button (switch) has to be provided. (provided
in Pfaff-silberblau controls, different designs)
