18. Troubleshooting

Even though the remote control system was designed as a state-of-the-art product, there can still be malfunctions or
faults. This is why we would like to show you how to clear possible malfunctions.
Problem
The transmitter does not respond.
The servos do not react.
The servos shake.
A servo is humming.
The system has a low range
The motor does not start up.
The transmitter turns off straight away
or after a short while.

Remedy
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter.
Check the polarity of the batteries or rechargeable batteries.
Check the function switch.
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the receiver.
Check the link-up of the receiver / transmitter
Check the polarity of the servo connector.
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and
the model.
Carefully dry possible dampness in the receiver with a blow-dryer.
Install the receiver antenna in the model differently for test purposes.
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the receiver.
Check that the linkage rods are running smoothly.
Operate the servo without a rudder horn for test purposes.
Mount the receiver module in another position
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and
the model.
Check the receiver antenna for damages and electrical continuity.
Check whether [Throttle Cut] is activated on a toggle switch.
Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter or
replace them.
