19. Troubleshooting

Even though the model and the remote control system were built to the state of the art, there may still be malfunctions
or faults. For this reason, we would like to give you some information on how to deal with possible problems.
Problem
The transmitter does not respond.
The transmitter goes off straight away
or after a short while.
The range of the system is very short.
The model doesn't respond
The motor does not start.

Remedy
• Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the remote control.
• Check the polarity of the batteries.
• Check the on/off switch.
• Bind transmitter and receiver again.
• Check the batteries in the remote control or replace them.
• Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the transmitter and
model.
• Check receiver aerial for damage and electrical continuity.
• Check flight battery or connector in the model.
• Check connectors on the receiver.
• Bind transmitter and receiver again.
• Push the control lever for the motor speed and the corresponding trim
slider into the lowest position (Motor Off position). If you re-connect the
flight battery to the flight control system afterwards and then push the
control lever into the direction of maximum motor speed, the motor
should start up.
• Check flight battery.
• Check motor or controller.
