Opening Remarks from Customer Service
Arneg Canada's refrigerated display cases are specially designed to provide the kind of fle
performance required in today's markets. In order to minimize any maintenance problems and
maximize the efficiency of your refrigeration operations, we recommend following some simple
procedures as you install, use and maintain this equipment:
➢ Carefully read the Installation and Operation Manual; this will optimize any work
that needs to be done.
➢ Before undertaking any maintenance operation on a refrigerated case, ensure that it has
been unplugged or the power supply has been cut off.
➢ Have only competent professionals complete the installation.
➢ Keep the equipment clean and sanitary, in compliance with all governmental hygiene and
sanitation regulations.
➢ The first time your refrigerated case is used or after it has been out of operation for a long
period of time, merchandise should not be placed back in the case until the case has
attained its operating temperature, i.e. after approximately 3 to 4 hours.
➢ To reduce product loss, rotate merchandise to prevent older inventory from accumulating.
Following a first-in, first-out rule will maintain products in a sellable condition.
➢ Do not place sales panels, large price tags or other similar material in the equipment, as
they will interfere with normal air circulation (this does not apply to regular price tags,
which are designed to be inserted into the 1-¼'' or 3'' price tag mouldings).
➢ SUPPLY AND RETURN AIR CONDUITS MUST NEVER BE OBSTRUCTED, AS THIS WOULD
COMPROMISE THE OPERATION OF YOUR REFRIGERATED CASE. DO NOT SURPASS THE LINE
INDICATING THE LOAD LIMIT.
